‘You didn’t show nothing!’…Jiří Procházka slams Jamahal Hill for criticizing his fight IQ ahead of UFC 311 clash

Jiří Procházka left his usual calm persona and responded fervently to some recent comments from Jamahal Hill.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiří Procházka didn't take long to respond to Jamahal Hill's recent comments about his style ahead of their UFC 311 fight.

Procházka and Hill will fight in the UFC 311 co-main event on the UFC's first pay-per-view card of 2025. The two former title holders hope to earn rematches with Alex Pereira after both were knocked out by the champion .

Procházka vs. Hill is a fight that has been in the making for a few years and has further intensified following recent bad blood between the two sides. Hill questioned Procházka's intelligence and awareness following his loss to Pereira for the then-vacant title at UFC 295.

It appears Procházka hasn't forgotten Hill's harsh criticism as they prepare to meet in the Octagon in a few weeks.

Jiří Procházka calls out Magomed Ankalaev, Jamahal Hill after recent performances

In a recent post on X, Procházka warned Hill and took aim at one of the division's top contenders.

“I'm really looking forward to my next fight. Jamahal, don't talk about my achievements, don't fight IQ and all that stuff, because in your last fight you didn't actually show anything,” Procházka said. “Ankalaev, in your last three fights you have shown absolutely nothing, so stay on the ground.

“That's it. I will win on January 18.” (h/t MMA Fights)

At the time of writing, Ankalaev and Hill have not commented on Procházka's video. Hill recently took aim at Ankalaev in an expletive-laden tirade during an interview.

Procházka is looking to get back in the win column after losing in two of his last three fights, including two losses to Pereira. His last win came against Aleksandar Rakić at UFC 300 in a come-from-behind fashion.

Jiří Procházka hopes to make a case for a third Alex Pereira fight

Before his recent struggles, Procházka won the UFC light heavyweight title by submitting Glover Teixeira at UFC 275. Just months later, he suffered a bad shoulder in training that forced him to vacate the title before defending it.

Hill returns to the cage against Procházka after falling by knockout to Pereira in the UFC 300 main event. Before the loss, Hill put together one of the most dominant performances of his career for the then-vacant title against Teixeira at UFC 283.

Ankalaev is expected to face Pereira next year for the next light heavyweight title fight after a long undefeated run in the Octagon. He last defeated Rakić at UFC 308 by unanimous decision.

In the run-up to UFC 311, tensions are running high between Hill and Procházka. The two former titleholders may have extra motivation to get back into the light-heavyweight mix after their recent banter.
