Xavi Hernandez has no work since he was fired by Barcelona at the end of last season, although this is because of a design. He served a Sabbatical year after a stressful period in Catalonia, and in the summer he is expected to return to management.
Xavi, who recently broke his silence in his time in Barcelona, is preparing to return to football before the start of the following season, although his first priority is currently spending Quality Time with his family.
While he relaxes, clubs all over the world seem to be in the door in front of Xavi. In recent weeks it has been reported that a public Premier League club would like to name the 45-year-old in the summer, and now he is interested in Mexico.
As reported by Sport, Rayados De Monterrey is considering an approach for Xavi to replace Martín Demichelis, which is under the Mexican giants.
Xavi is said to be aware of the interest, but he is not considering taking on the job if it became available. At this stage is his priority to keep coaching in Europe, where he wants to lead a powerful project.
It seems that Xavi has a few options to choose from when he returns to football in the summer. The will of Manchester United and Ajax have approached him in recent months, and although he has rejected them to see the rest of his sabbatical, they could call again at the end of the season.
It is still to be seen where Xavi ends up. A return to Spanish football is possible, although it would not be with Barcelona, who are very happy with his successor, Hansi Flick.
