Coventry close to appointing Frank Lampard as successor to Mark Robins
Coventry City are closing in on the appointment of Frank Lampard as their new boss.
It is understood an agreement in principle has been reached, with the two sides ironing out the finer details.
Lampard is reportedly looking to bring some of his own people into the Championship club's backroom staff.
Sky Sports News revealed last week that the former Chelsea and Derby County manager was the front-runner for the job and talks were at an advanced stage.
