Dele Alli breaks his silence following nightmare debut for Como

Dele Alli broke his silence after his nightmare debut for Como.

Alli was only sent in his football efficiency for 10 minutes – after two years of waiting on the sidelines.

The former international English International finally debuted for his new side, Como, after he joined them during the winter transfer window.

However, he could have enjoyed a better first game for the Cesc Fabregas team, because the 28-year-old received a straight red card during Saturday's collision against AC Milan.

He initially received a yellow card for his stop-time error on Ruben Loftus-Cheek, but this was upgraded to a red card after a controversial VAR check.

Alli posted on Instagram: '2 years! Not necessary how I had planned it, but we keep moving. '

He added: “I would always have announced my return in one way or another after the last 2 years, would rather have had it with a goal, but feels good to be back.”

Alli also revealed a text exchange with Loftus-Cheek to whom he told: 'Pic looks bad, I just tried to cut your heel. When the referee went to VAR, I didn't even know it was for me. '

The former midfielder of Chelsea replied: 'Bro I had no idea. I stayed down because I was blowing. '
