Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall may have some beef with Jon Jones, but he understands the challenge for him.
Tom Aspinall and Jon Jones are in active negotiations with the UFC Brass to collide later this year. If the fight comes to blossom, it is perhaps the biggest fight in the UFC history and the largest in heavyweight MMA history.
Aspinall is considered by many as one of the most difficult tests of Jones' almost intact MMA career. After Jones defended the Linear UFC -heavyweight belt against Stipe Miocic, attention focused on the Aspinall fighter, exciting fans around the world.
Although Aspinall is extremely confident in his capacities, he knows that Jones could possibly catch him and hand him a brutal knockout loss.

Tom Aspinall 'Realistic' on potential falling to Jon Jones in heavyweight collision
In a recent interview with Jamal Niaz, Aspinall was asked what the Jones fight could look like and he gave a surprising response.
“I don't know, it's hard to say. Who knows what will happen? I might be eliminated in it [the Jones] Vecht, “said Aspinall. “Heavyweight MMA, you can't plan too far in the future … it's not about being humble, it's just about being realistic. Two boys, both solid, are both wearing small gloves, everything can happen.
“I think my talent is better than someone else's, but I am also realistic,” Aspinall continued. “One of us must lose, and there are two of us there. So we'll see. “
Aspinall lost by TKO/KO in his UFC career after he had shattered his knee against Curtis Blaydes for only 15 seconds in their heavyweight collision of 2022. But Aspinall has since won three consecutive fights, including back-to-back finishes from Blaydes and Sergei Pavlovich.
Alex Pereira's UFC 313 loss strengthens Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall Fight Talks
After the UFC Light Heavyweight title of Alex Pereira came a dramatic end to UFC 313, the door seemed to be closed on a potential Pereira vs. Jones -Matchup. This was a big victory for Aspinall, originally rejected by Jones in favor of a potentially superfight with Pereira.
UFC CEO Dana White has updated fans about the status of Jones vs. Aspinall, and claims that they complete a time frame and location for the heavyweight unwise competition. It has been proposed that Jones vs. Aspinall possibly could lead the International Fight Week card of the UFC.
In the run -up to UFC 313, Chael Sonen claimed that if Pereira defeated Magomed Ankalaev, talks about a fight with Aspinall almost immediately afterwards. Pereira has no potential future relocation excluded to heavyweight to face the Jones versus Aspinall winner.
Hopefully in the coming weeks we will get more clarity about Jones vs. Aspinall. But for the time being, the UFC matchmakers are again focused on making the dream heavyweight battle for flourishing.
