Mikel Arteta jokingly runs out of Sky Sports interview after win over Chelsea

Arsenal –Baas Mikel Arteta got a joke from an interview a week after he stormed after being asked about the fading title loop on his side.

The Gunners returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 1-0 win against Chelsea on Sunday.

Mikel Merino first half header at the Emirates turned out to be the difference, because Arsenal reduced the lead of Liverpool at the top

In an interview with Sky Sports, Arteta praised the performance of his team and claimed that they 'deserved' their victory on the blues.

The Spaniard was then asked about the possible return of Bukayo Saka after the international break and he played a joke on the reporters by turning it into a dashboard to avoid question.

He quickly returned to the screen and said, “Yes, he has every chance [of returning].

After last week's 1-1 draw with Manchester United, reporter Patrick Davison Arteta stopped who left his interview once after the game to ask a final question about the title race, but the Arsenal boss refused to answer and made a hasty exit.

In the course of the interview, Arteta seemed to be largely frustrated and Davison often interrupted to give early answers.

The camera had to move when Arteta tried to leave, and he cut a frustrated figure while he made a hasty exit out of the chat after Davison asked: “I have to ask you about the title race because it is now 15 points, is it too much?” Arteta replied: 'No, thank you', before you stormed.

Arsenal's victory over Chelsea has reduced Liverpool's lead at the top of the table to 12 points.

Artetasaid: 'I am of course very happy with the result and with large parts of the version.

'We had many chances and then we give in almost nothing, apart from a strange rescue from David [Raya].

“That is a huge honor to the team because in my opinion Chelsea is the best attacking team in the competition.”
