Real Madrid dressing room feel Mbappe has not been angry enough since arriving
Real Madrid are set to head into a big Champions League clash with Liverpool at Anfield, aware that if they lose it could mean goodbye to their hopes of finishing in the top eight. With the stakes higher and Vinicius Junior out injured, the hope is that this will revive Kylian Mbappe.
According to Relevo, Mbappé has the approval of the Real Madrid dressing room. Since his arrival he has not caused any problems with anyone, he is cheerful, intelligent and relaxed. However, they are still waiting for Mbappe to pull his team forward during adversity.
At the White House there is hope that the match against Liverpool will light a fire under Mbappé, who will play from his favorite position on the left. They are waiting for a Mbappé who gets angry when Real Madrid loses and is annoyed by others who outsmart him, just like Karim Benzema or Cristiano Ronaldo did during their time at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Mbappe has kept a relatively low profile since arriving in Madrid, with the exception of a trip to Sweden during the October international break. While there were plenty who didn't want an ego-heavy Mbappe arriving at the club and potentially disrupting a happy dressing room, there is clearly a balance to be struck with the character that drives the elite forward.
