Hilarious moment! Burn caught watching back his Carabao heroics in England camp

Newcastle's Carabao Cup hero Dan Burn was caught on the camera for a repeat of the final during his first day of England under Thomas Tuchel.

Burn, 33, becomes the oldest debutant of England ever when he plays against Albania or Latvia this month, after he has earned his very first international call-up at senior level.

The defender, who was released during his teenage years by the Newcastle youth team, but returned to Tyneside after a move from Brighton in 2022, scored the crucial first goal of the Magpies of Sunday before he helped his side close the historic 2-1 victory in Wembley.

After he joined the Jubilant Carabao Cup parties of Newcastle, Burnt went on his way to the English camp of Tuchel in the highest spirits – but did not want to forget the fairy -tale day.

Hilarious, Burn on the camera was imprisoned and looked back the game with the former Liverpool and Sunderland star Jordan Henderson, and it happened to be the precise moment that he walked away in the celebration after scoring.

The images, posted by the official England account on social media platform X, was accompanied by the caption: “We get it, then!”

Come on to explain that he not only cherished in his own glory during his first moments of England, Burn said in the video: “I just came for that, I swear!”

His remark led to a radiant grin and chuckled from Henderson, who could see the funny side.

Burn and England will hope to make a positive start under the new Tuchel manager in their first two games of the qualifying campaign of 2026 World Cup.

Tuchel, who officially started working on January 1 after he was appointed last October, declared his first 26-man team last Friday.

On Monday afternoon, several stars were seen that join the English base in St George's Park, including the recalled duo by Marcus Rashford and Henderson.

Tuchel was there to greet his players when they arrived and he looked delighted when he gets going well in what his first role is in international football.

Burn was depicted, both Tuchel and Captain Harry Kane greeted on his arrival at England's head office, while Arsenal star Myles Lewis-Skelly had a delighted expression on his face, as he first reported for three lion's obligation.
