Jamie Carragher has insisted that Liverpool must make 'five or six' signing sessions during the summer window in the midst of their continuous struggles.

'I don't think he has a time for four or five players in that team, and the fact that he did not change players at home in Southampton between the PSG matches – against one of the worst teams ever in the Premier League – I can accept that this season, but this season I am sure he will be sure he will bring players.
“He will have to trust his team more because he has to move forward in the Champions League, and he cannot accept such an achievement in a cup final.”
'I am excited to see where Arne Slot will bring Liverpool because it seems like they are going to win the competition, but there are still so many areas to improve.
'He needs a center-back as a backup for the two we have, he needs a right back with Trent Alexander-Arnold that probably leaves.
'I think he needs a midfielder to replace Endo, someone younger and he trusts, a center-forward to play and a left wing. There are at least five or six players that he has to come in to go straight into the team and three to be strong backups. '
Although Alexander-Arnold will probably leave the club to become a member of Real Madrid, there is hope among supporters that Salah and Van Dijk will extend their deals in Anfield.
