La Liga President Javier Tebas wasted little time in responding to the complaints of Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti on weekends and came again after Los Blancos. The self -proclaimed Madridista has had an almost constant struggle with President Florentino Perez and also called his counterpart.
On Saturday evening, Ancelotti explained their 2-1 win over Villarreal as the last time Real Madrid would play with less than 72 hours of rest. The right to rest was supported by the president of David Aganzo of the Spanish player (AFE), but Tebas claimed that Los Blancos deliberately asked less than 72 hours to have requested second leg against Real Sociedad between their next league match against Leganes and their Copa del Rey Semi-final.
On Tuesday morning Tebas was back in the offensive on Twitter/X, and noted that the calendar problems with which Real Madrid is confronted in no way are exceptional.
“Given so much discussion about schedules, two thoughts:
1 – Since the European matches started on Thursday, more than 14 years ago, clubs from all over Europe, including Spanish, have passed on Sunday without being 72 hours. “
Perhaps more of a problem is Perez's involvement in the order that maintains the registration of Dani Olmo in Barcelona.
“No 'spokesperson' will deny the report that FP intervened with the CSD to have FCB's appeal confirmed and to pay attention, because he himself commented on this during the Super Cup final, according to the news. If this was true, we would have a very serious problem.”
Recent reports have claimed that Perez was not only intervened in the case at the High Committee for Sport (CSD) by calling the president to influence the decision, but that he even recognized the same amount with Olmo's face in Saudi -Arabia. The order has been set to lapse with the decision of the CSD, expects at the beginning of April, where Barcelona claims that he must remain registered and La Liga against it.
