Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson is undeniably an MMA legend, with a resume full of fantastic fighters.
However, when he fought Jon Jones, he was unable to overcome his opponent's dynamic, striking and vicious submission game.
Regardless, even though Jones was the light heavyweight champion at the time, Rampage believes he was the bigger name, and it was he who gave the younger man the opportunity to build his brand.
That said, the former fighter is adamant that his old rival Tom Aspinall is owed the same courtesy.

During an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, the 46-year-old said: “When I fought Jon Jones, I remember people saying, 'Who are you fighting next?' I was like, 'Jon Jones,' and it was like, 'Who is that?'… I heard the interview and he said he didn't want to give Aspinall a fight because people didn't really know who he was.
“He felt that Aspinall would make a name for himself. I was like, 'Jon Jones, when I fought you, no one really knew who you were. You weren't a superstar yet.”
