Leon Edwards teases a Roy Jones JR-inspired speech after the fight

After winning the UFC Welterweight title after he had sent Kamaru Usman in the Shadow Realm on UFC 278, 'Rocky' Edwards produced one of the greatest post-fighting moments ever when he was interviewed by Joe Rogan.

Edwards wants to reverse the years with not only his performance, but also with his planned speech after the fight when he wins against Brady.

“I have to go outside and take care of Sean, what I am going to say about the microphone, of course (I will call for a) title shot immediately and just let the world know that they should have forgotten who I am and just reminding the world of who I am,” Edwards told TNT Sports.

The expression 'you must forget' was started by the boxing legend, Roy Jones Jr, who released his own song after a few losses, who reminded people of his performance in sport.

“You must have forgotten 100%, sure, I feel good, I am in good spirit,” Edwards continued.

Leon Edwards believes that he can earn the next title shot

With Muhammad planned to compete against Della Maddalena in his first title defense, Shavkat Rakhmonov is apparently the next one in line to fight for the title after missing the injury.

However, the Brit is convinced that with a victory over Brady he can protect himself the next title shot, possibly jumping over 'De Nomad'.

Ian Machado Garry is another goodweight candidate who feels hard to miss the goodweight.

The last outing of the Irishman came across the aforementioned Rakhmonov in which he believes controversially that he was unfair on the wrong side of a decision.
