Chelsea could be forced this summer to sell a whole XI star players to finance a world -class striker.
The desperation of the blues for a No. 9 has left the club behind to let players flock to meet the profit and sustainability rules.
With £ 1.2 billion issued under Todd Boehly since 2022, Enzo Maresca essentially has two separate squadrons and more players than he can count.
But so far, Chelsea has avoided financial stock market mates, punishing because of their ability to sell players – such as £ 60 million -plus deals for Mason Mount to Manchester United and Kai Havertz to Arsenal – which amounts to a decent net sales.
And this summer they have no shortage of options for potential profitable outputs – so much that you could practically make an XI of a salable list.
It is difficult to keep track of who is in the books in Chelsea, with eight of the XI that are currently on loan, but Sunsport leads the rule over those who can make room.
Kepa Arrizabalaga
Kepa Arrizabalaga came to Chelsea of Athletic Bilbao in 2018 for £ 72 million.
The Spaniard, currently on loan in Bournemouth, remains the most expensive retainer of all time.
The 30-year-old is said to want to become a permanent member of the Cherries after starting 22 Prem matches this season.
But after having spent the last term on loan with Real Madrid, Kepa will certainly have many other voorags.
Alfie Gilchrist
Chelsea -Leee Gilchrist started 26 of the 30 champion matches of Sheffield United this season.
Domestic talent and an English defender of 21 years is a good combination to get a considerable compensation.
With Chris Wilder's side who insists on immediate promotion back to the Prem, the club could move to make the Gilchrist deal permanent.
Trevor Chalobah
Colleague Cobham star Chalobah, who came to Chelsea at the age of eight, would be seen as “expandable” by the club as “expandable”.
Chalobah probably had the hope of saving his blues career when the club reminded him of his loan in Crystal Palace when Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill were out with suspected long -term injuries.
Axel Disasi
Chelsea plans to sell Disasi after he had sent the Frenchman on loan to Aston Villa in January.
A switch to the club established in Birmingham can be an option for the Frenchman if he impresses in the rest of the season.
Ben Chilwell
Chilwell put Chelsea back a no less than £ 50 million when he arrived from Leicester in 2020, but fitness issues made him liability.
Maresca said that the left back is “free to leave” when he lent him to Crystal Palace to Crystal Palace for the rest of the season in January for the rest of the season.
Chilwell, who earns around £ 200,000 a week, was generally criticized last season by a part of the fan base.
Renato Veiga
Veiga, 21, joined Chelsea van Basel for £ 11.8 million in the summer, but was bent to Juventus every other year in the year.
The Italian side has been agreed to cover the wages of the Portugal International and to pay a loan costs of £ 3.8 million, without option to buy in the deal.
Veiga is also linked to Borussia Dortmund because he is looking for more minutes to stay in the Portugal team.
Carney Chukwuemeka
The 21-year-old came to Dortmund in February, with an option to buy, from Chelsea and enjoyed a great start there.
The Bundesliga giants would like to keep Chukwuemeka for another loan after it is an end, although this would trust them that are eligible for Europe.
Raheem Sterling
Sterling has passed a nightmare stint at Stamford Bridge since he signed for £ 47.5 million from Manchester City for a five-year deal in 2022.
With four Prem -Start in 29 games this season, Arsenal will not go to sign Sterling for a permanent deal.
Bookmakers have West Ham and Fenerbahce as front runners to take him with him if he left Chelsea.
Joao Felix
Felix's transmission of £ 113 million from Benfica to Atletico Madrid In 2019 made him the fifth most expensive football transfer of all time.
After a Topsy-Turvy for a few years Diego Simeone, Felix came to Chelsea on a short loan in 2023, before spending a campaign with Barcelona.
The Laliga side finally saw its £ 42.7 million sales to Chelsea last summer accept a devastating financial loss.
But within six months after his deal that runs until 2031, Maresca sent him on loan to AC Milan – who was another nightmare.
Felix, 25, has been beaten since January by some sections of the Italian press after a series of overwhelming versions.
David Datro Fofana
Fofana's 18 months in Chelsea have only seen him for the club four times, while he gets around £ 30,000 a week.
The 22-year-old was recalled from his loan saying with Super Lig Side Goztepe after a large knee injury could not play him until next season.
Previous loans in Union Berlin and Burnley have previously only called six goals in 32 performances.
Now Chelsea could reduce their losses in the £ 13 million man and ensure that he is of their wage account.
Armando Broja
Chelsea was willing to sell striker Broja last August, before he came to Everton at Everton at Everton at Everton.
But bidders can be deterred by the constant injury problems of the Albania International.
The 23-year-old was sidelined for the first months of the season in Everton while he continued to recover from an Achilles injury, who had contracted a transfer to Ipswich.
Broja was then available for selection for five games before he was stretched with oxygen during Everton's FA Cup victory on Peterborough.
