Sevilla eyeing Antony-style move for Chelsea outcast

The move from Antony to Real Betis has re-appreciated him in Manchester United, and Chelsea could look to do the same with one of their own Getups-that is Mykhailo Mudryk, who puts on La Liga-interest.

Mudryk arrived in Chelsea during the Winter transfer window 2023 by Shakhtar Donetsk, and he promises a lot because he was signed for a first fee of € 70 million. However, he has difficulty having a good impact at the Premier League club, and to make things worse, he is currently not allowed to play after the English football club suspended him in December after he had tested positively for doping.

Both Chelsea and Mudryk believe that he is innocent, and they hope that his suspension will be lifted before the summer transfer window is opened. If so, it is almost certain that a move is being sought for the Ukrainian winger, and if that is the case, he will have the chance to revive his career in Spain.

As reported by Sport, Sevilla shows interest in Mudryk, and they hope for a deal similar to the fact that Betis did with Man United for Antony. The idea would be to loan him to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan for the 2025-26 season to get away from the Limelight of Chelsea, and with that the 24-year-old succeeded in returning to the form he showed in Shakhtar.

The report states that Mudryk would welcome a move to Seville, because he would see it as an opportunity to play football regularly, which he did not do in Chelsea. The London club could also view it favorably, and they only have to look at Antony's exploits on the other side of Seville to know that it is an option that can be enormous for them in their attempt to get rid of him permanently in the coming years.
