Emotional moment Lewis-Skelly’s family are spotted going wild in Wembley crowd

The family of Myles Lewis-Skelly was spotted and celebrated emotionally to celebrate his record-breaking debut-England goal.

The Arsenal star received his first senior cap of new three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel -against Albania in Wembley.

And it took only 20 minutes for Lewis-Skelly to repaid the faith of Tuchel when he held the stunning pass of Jude Bellingham and threw past keeper Thomas Hittosha.

And at the age of 18 years and 176 days, he became the youngest player ever scored on his first English cap.

Lewis-Skelly surpassed the record of teammate Marcus Rashford-Die at 18 years and 209 days against Australia in May 2016.

Rashford, 27, happened to be his first international performance in a year in the qualifying opener of England in the World Cup.

The Lewis-Skelly family was seen in the Wembley stands after the opening goal.

ITV cameras picked up the grandmother and sister of the Wonderkid and welcomed and hugged.

Lewis-Skelly said after the game: “I am lost for words. I am so grateful for the manager to trust me. I am so happy.

“The fans made sure I felt at home, so thanks to them.”

Tuchel said: “Great player. Great personality.

“He came to the camp and immediately showed that it is normal to fall in love with him. It is well deserved.”

Captain Harry Kane sealed a 2-0 victory, because Declan Rice also greeted his Gunners teammate Lewis-Skelly.

Rice said: “He is fearless. He does everything directly from the field and he is only 18.

“I knew he would play like this tonight because of the confidence he has.

“He kept his feet on the floor and it is only the beginning for him.”
