The Best FIFA Football Awards 2024: full list of candidates and nominees

Real Madrid dominates the nominees for the best FIFA men's player, while Barcelona has several candidates for the best FIFA women's player.

Real Madrid stars top the list of nominees for the Best FIFA Men's Player at the Best FIFA Football Awards 2024, with six of the ten finalists having played for the LaLiga giants in the last twelve months.

Dani Carvajal, Fede Valverde, Jude Bellingham, Vinícius Júnior, Kylian Mbappé and the now retired Toni Kroos are all in contention for the gong, along with Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Rodri (City), Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, Inter Miami- superstar Lionel Messi and playmaker Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen.

Messi was the winner last year and is chasing the prize for the third year in a row.
