Kylian Mbappe lifted the lid during his first year in Real Madrid as part of an in -depth interview with the Spanish Outlet La Sexta.
Mbappe's leads the indictment of Real Madrid for three large trophies at the end of 2024/25 with 22 La Liga goals scored and 33 in all competitions.
That figure has matched the count of Cristiano Ronaldo from his debut campaign in the Spanish capital and Mbappe is strongly focused on the team effort to win trophies in the coming weeks.
Real Madrid is currently four points behind the League leaders Barcelona in the title race and will be confronted with their El Clasico rivals in the Copa del Rey final on 26 April.
As part of his interview, Mbappe repeated his point for team Glory that weighs heavier than any individual award, while preparing for another balloon d'Or in 2025.
Mbappe also opened his decision to join Real Madrid last summer after a long-term exit from Paris Saint-Germain.
The leader of France rejected several attempts from PSG to expand his contract because he remained strong about his goal to move to Madrid, despite the rejecting of them in 2022.
Mbappe has consistently declared how Florentino Perez remained a key figure in his life after his earlier decision with both parties convinced that he would eventually make the move.
As a part a tense exit of PSG, the Mbappe family was criticized by some sections of both the French and the Spanish media, whereby his mother is often painted as a controversial figure in contract negotiations.
Mbappe rejected those claims and insisted that his mother is not part of his representation team, but indicated that some people still have a problem with her input.
“People have a very hard image of my mother. In the world of football, some people don't like too many women to be involved,” he said.
“Especially when they do important things in football. She does a lot for me, just like my father, but people talk more about her.
“They don't see it as a good thing. She is not my agent, she is my mother.
“She only wants the best for her children. She also does the same for my brother, but he is not as famous as me!”
