Top 100 goalkeepers in the world revealed by stats with shock Premier League No1

Fans have been left stunned by a surprising list of the top 100 keepers in the world.

Number crunchers at Cies Football Observatory Index have arranged Shot Stoppers around the world on the basis of statistics to see who is the best.

They have taken into account the level of competition, results of games played and the “Deviation in the percentage of rescues compared to the expected value” to reach their conclusions.

And Cies gave the first place to PSG and Italy No1 Gianluigi Donnarumma, who scored 95.5 out of 100.

The second place went to the Yann Sommer of Inter Milan and the bronze medal point was awarded to Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois.

But fans are shocked by some of the other names in the top ten, including Brentford Stopper Mark Flekken and Chelsea keeper Robert Sanchez.

This season, Flekken made 130 saves in the Premier League, 30 more than any other player, while holding five clean sheets.

Sanchez will be arranged in sixth place this season by the statisticians, despite a lot of criticism from Chelsea fans this season.

The Spaniard has made five errors that directly lead to goals in the Premier League, the joint highest amount in the division.

But Chelsea supporters do not have to worry about the goalkeeper position, because Loanese Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga get the top 100.

The man who spends the season in Strasbourg is in 11th place and the NO1 of Bournemouth is 17th.

Alisson is considered the best goalkeeper in the competition by many, but he must settle for 33rd with a score of 75.1 out of 100.

That is behind Celtic's Kasper Schmeichel in 19th and Burnley's James Trafford in 27th.

In the meantime, the bad news for Manchester United Keeper Andre Onana is, because he did not succeed in getting the top 100 completely.

His predecessor between the Old Trafford Sticks David de Gea is 53rd after a strong campaign in Fiorentina.

Other surprise inclusions are Tottenham's Antonin Kinsky in the 67th, while the first choice of the Guglielmo Vicario club is nowhere to be seen.

Sheffield United Ace Michael Cooper and West Ham star Alphonse Areola almost sneak at 81st and 86th respectively.

Fans made the rankings, saying one: “I immediately saw Sanchez's of Chelsea -Name there, I ignored the list.”

Another added: “David Raya and Emi Martinez were going to play another sport?

A third wrote: “Scandalous.”
