Islam Makhachev is currently ruling the lightweight division and apparently cries out for new contenders.
The title ambitions of Pimblett could have had a huge boost, not only because the champion is looking for new contenders, but because Makhachev stated earlier that he would fight against Pimblett if he was in the top 10 of the ranking.
