Ilia Topuria tells everything in terms of a potential fight with Conor McGregor.
Between politics, parties and injuries it is still uncertain whether we will see Conor McGregor again competing. The former two -division champion did not fight since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier on UFC 264 in 2021 and he withdrew from a fight with Michael Chandler last summer due to an injury.
If McGregor does not stick to his pension edition and decides to fight again, there is only a handful of opponents who would be logical for the Irishman in this phase of his career.
One of them is former UFC Vederweight Champion Ilia Topuria.

Ilia Topuria has previously been in conversation to combat Conor McGregor
During a recent performance at the Joe Rogan experience, Topuria said that he and the UFC have previously spoken about combating Conor McGregor, the largest star that the sport has ever seen.
“We actually had those conversations a bit,” Topuria revealed.
Topuria did not go when these discussions took place, for fear that he might get into trouble with the UFC.

“If they now offered me a fight with Conor, why not?” Said Topuria.

The Conor McGregor from Today is much different than the McGregor we saw Go 7-0 in the UFC Featherweight Division ten years ago.
McGregor is 1-3 in his last 4 fights with his last victory a TKO interruption of Donald Cerrone in 2020. The 36-year-old has not placed a full training camp in almost four years.
Unbeated and previously undisputed, Ilia Topuria 'The Notorious' sent a strict warning if they ever fight.
“It depends on who he is confronted with,” Topuria said about McGregor's preparations.
“Because if you put him against me, he must die and be born again,” said Topuria.
“His toe is f *****. His chin is f *****. The F ***** of his body. With that so many parties and drugs and all that you have to pay that price at some point.
“You pay the price with your health. That is the stupidest thing you can do in your entire life. He also suffered a lot with weight loss. That is a major damage for your body.”
Topuria went on.
“You can have everything in this life, but if you are not healthy, you have nothing.”
