With a treble still on the cards for Inter after their quarter -final victory of the Champions League over Bayern Munich, Benjamin Pavard said they don't set any limits.
Bayern went in the front in San Siro on Wednesday via Harry Kane before Inter responded with two Quickfire goals from Lautaro Martinez and Pavard.
Another goal from the German side of Eric Dier led a nervous end, but the hosts came through with a 4-3 aggregated victory, with Pavard's 61e-minute goal that turned out to be decisive in the draw.
Inter is at the top of the Serie A and its level at 1-1 with AC Milan in the semi-final of Coppa Italia after the first stage, and Pavard sees no reason why they should not all try to win.
“I am happy for my first goal in the Champions League, but I am even happier for the team that has reached an important milestone like the semi -final,” Pavard told Amazon Prime.
“We suffered a lot on the field, we knew that one of the keys to the game would be the defense. We have done our work very well than when a defender also becomes a striker, it is even better.
“We don't set ourselves boundaries because we have come to that, we want to continue.”
In two of the last three seasons, Inter has reached the semi-final of the Champions League (also 2022-23), after he only made the last four in two of their first 15 performances in the competition.
Inter won the Treble in 2010, after he had defeated Bayern to lift the Champions League, and Simone Inzaghi is still on course to repeat Jose Mourinho's performance.
“It is a wonderful evening, lived in our stadium, for our fans against a very strong team,” said Inzaghi.
“We had to play two great games, everything we had. The boys were beautiful, it is a victory to share with the entire Interwereld.
“We are moving forward in this long season that gives us so many emotions.”
