Former Liverpool -manager Jurgen Klopp was surprisingly linked to Real Madrid's job last week, many of which will believe it will be talkative. However, the Klopp agent has denied any interest of the former Borussia Dortmund coach when taking Carlo Ancelotti's job or the vacancy in Brazil.
Speculation started earlier this week, and some said there were people within the Real Madrid -Hierarchy that argued for the arrival of Klopp. This was followed by a report from Brazil that he would be open to conversations with Los Blancos or the Selecao, and on Friday reported that Klopp was the radar action and that he was not happy in his new role as the worldwide director of football activities at Red Bull.
Slightly downright by Guillem Balague on BBC Radio 5 Live, who noticed that Klopp enjoyed his life with Red Bull and had been ready to leave the management for two seasons before he did. The previous part of that assessment was confirmed by his agent Marc Kosicke to Sky Sports de.
“I understand that there have been constant questions about Klopp from Europe's top clubs and some federations. However, he is not going to take over as a head coach next season. Not even at Real Madrid or at the Brazilian national team,” Quote of Sport.
“Jurgen is happy in his role as the worldwide director of Red Bull and has a current contract, so there is nothing more to say.”
Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso would continue to place that at the forefront of the thinking of Real Madrid for next season, if Ancelotti indeed leaves his function. Already in September the Basque coach was associated with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu and he definitively made a statement about his future, despite the fact that sports director Simon Rolfes claims that he would see his contract in Germany, that, like Ancelotti, will expire in 2026.
