Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor celebrated the 14th anniversary of his fastest knockout.
Conor McGregor shocked the world when he finished the then champion-GUC featherweight champion Jose Aldo in 13 seconds on UFC 194. But years earlier, McGregor achieved a knockout victory that lasted a third of the time that was needed to get the UFC Hall of Famer.
The climb from McGregor to the top of the UFC -Fedweight Division remains one of the largest runs in the MMA history. In just a handful of fighting, McGregor stood up from a talented prospect to the face of the UFC, earning wild knockouts and numerous highlight moments.
Before McGregor finally received the call from the UFC matchmakers, he fought for a small salary in the Irish regional scene. In Letterkenny in April 2011, McGregor needed a blow to flatten his opponent.
