Arsenal continued their beautiful shape after beating Real Madrid with a professional victory over Ipswich Town.
There were very few signs of fatigue on the side of Mikel Arteta despite the brilliant victory in the Spanish capital.
Arteta used the match against the Tractor Boys as a clothing rehearsal prior to the Champions League collision against PSG on April 29.
The manager chose to bring Mikel Merino back to midfield, while Leandro Trossard took the rush role.
The plan worked well when the Belgian delivered the opening goal with a neat finish in the 14th minute.
He continued to impress as he played a key role in the second of Arsenal, who was tapped home by Gabriel Martinelli.
Trossard made a brace for himself in the second half when he improved Palmer for the second time in the 69th minute.
Ethan Nwaneri put the icing on top when his bent effort made the four in the final phase.
Here is how Sunssport's Jordan Davies rated the men of Arteta from Portman Road …
David Raya – 7
He could have crossed the tunnel to go to the toilet in different phases during the game and I would not have noticed it. That is how little I was made to look at Arsenal's goal.
Benjamin White – 7
Necessary minutes and rhythm after complications of his knee operation, White got that exactly here. A solid run-out and some air in the lungs.
There are still signs that he is not completely up to speed and currently seems to be the second choice behind Jurrien Timber.
But he is such a good team option to have, especially in games like this – a reliable figure that hardly does a foot wrong.
William Saliba – 8
It sometimes seemed as if the Frenchman was forced to play against a couple of school children, hardly breaking sweat. It felt unfair to him to be on the field, he is so good.
If there is something, it was just a useful 90-minute job to build more a relationship with Jakub Kiwior, something the couple needs if they want to reach the Champions League final next month.
Jakub Kiwior – 7
The pole has received nothing but praise for his recent Champions League outings against Real Madrid, and rightly, keeping Kylian Mbappe and CO comfortable at a distance.
From Spain to Suffolk, as is often the case with Kiwior, there were a few nervy moments on the ball, which must be saved by Declan Rice after an underhit -pass from the back.
Mikel Arteta even thought it was time to eliminate the defender in the beginning.
Oleksandr Zinchenko – 7
The perfect competition for the Ukrainian to occur – only his seventh start of the season in all competitions. It was as if this competition was designed with him in mind.
A lot of time on the ball, given a lot of room to cut in and not defend or chase much to worry about.
He was so comfortable that he even moved to midfield on timepieces.
It is clear that an understudy for Myles Lewis-Skelly at the moment, he should best use this, because it is unlikely that he will now get a lot of action, especially if Arsenal will stay in Europe and keep the title race alive for as long as possible.
Martin Odegaard – 7
Back to his creative best, and seemed to have so much fun with Bukayo Saka as his sparring partner on the right.
Boy we missed these kinds of performances of Norwegian – the cute, printed passes, dictating around the box, orchestrating everything that has been produced well arsenal.
So bad luck not to grab a late goal while his long -distance stitch rattles the inside of the pole.
Declan Rice 72 ' – 7
He is seeing of trust at the moment and that can be seen, which every midfield bays where he focuses his eyes, gallops his way in every room that he chooses.
His corner deliveries are still on the money – it's just a shame that he doesn't have anyone to repent with the usual suspect Gabriel for the season.
Mikel Merino 56 ' – 8
Regardless of the position, where Merino is currently playing, he is involved in Doelen, just as he proved more than two legs against Madrid with a goal and two assists.
There was another assist here and was it not beauty? A first, no-look, back film by Bukayo Saka's cuts directly in the path of Gabriel Martinelli on the distant post.
He was deployed in midfield, but often roamed forward and drove into space with the space with Leandro Trossard who regularly switched to the flanks.
Bukayo Saka 56 ' – 8
Spent most of the first half that was boosted by the Ipswich fans, especially because he was at the end of a terrible studs-up tackle by Leif Davis who had shown the defender a straight red.
But the Jeers also witnessed respect of a player at the top of his play, they occasionally tore on the right and should have had a hat trick of goals and assists within the first 45 minutes, but for various missed sitters.
Understandably, it was completed in the 57th minute to protect him from larger matches.
Gabriel Martinelli 72 ' – 8
Just like in Madrid, the Brazilian can float in and out of games, on the edge of attacks, and then in an instant he is in the right place at the right time.
The movement for his goal and the second of Arsenal was fantastic.
These are the kind of consistent, weekly figures that he has to produce if he wants to hold his place on that left wing with next season and a large summer transfer edition in mind.
Leandro Trossard 82 ' – 9
This was a real chance to prove his value to Mikel Arteta in the middle one potential option for the semi-final first stage of the Champions League.
There were a few good moments, including his two goals.
For both he threw calm in the corner up close, largely thanks to a pretty terrible defense, while he also became involved in a number of impressive attacks on the right with Saka.
The Belgian was also wasting-a identical setup for his goal saw him take a touch when he could have shooted it the first time, but to mark him, would be hard.
Subs
Ethan Nwaneri 56 ' – 8
Had a few cracking runs to the right that did not arrive and then a bit of luck when his shot cut in from two ippswich defenders and in.
Has lost a little momentum since Saka's return from injury, but that will do him the world of good.
Myles Lewis -Skelly 56 ' – 6
Came on the left, but was quickly moved to a role in the midfielder-being natural habitat of his Arsenal Academy days. It is not surprising that the 18-year-old was not stunned at all.
Raheem Sterling 72 ' – 6
You really have to feel sorry for the man. He still looks rusty and it is the business end of the season, but that is because he has hardly been played.
Kieran Tierney 72 ' – 6
Another chance for the Arsenal fans to Serenade their favorite scot before he leaves this summer.
Nathan Butler -Oyedeji 82 ' – NVT
A Premier League debut for the 22-year-old.
