Colby Covington received a hostile reaction to Wrestlemania 41 on Sunday evening.

UFC boss Dana White was booed twice when he attended Night One van Wrestling's greatest event of the year.

So, of course, when Colby Covington was projected on the big screen during the night two, he was hunted by the 63,226 fans at allegiant stage in Las Vegas.

Viral images shows angry that is echoing around the location when Covington's face was blasted on the big screen.

The former interim -ufc champion Welterwet embraced the hatred by covering his hands on his ears.

Covignton stood with a huge grin on his face as it got angry louder and louder.

Fans responded quickly to Covington's Wrestlemania 41 moment on social media.

“They don't even know who he is and he is still being booed,” said a person. While another added: “Not surprised.”

“Boooo !!! You suck !!!” Another X user added.

“Man, it's so sad how much a loser he is,” someone else noticed.

“Who is that?” Asked a confused WWE fan.

Colby Covington Eyes WWE -career

Covington's TKO defeat against Joaquin Buckley in December brought him on a three-fighter-losing series.

At this point it seems that the 37-year-old is virtually done as a serious competition at 170 pounds.

Covington seems to have accepted that fact while recently spoken a new career in another sport.

“I would probably say two years,” he said when a fan asked when he would go to WWE.

“I really want to start working on my in-ring struggling and my crowd-generated capacity in the following year or two.

“Maybe I go to Orlando and I go to the WWE training center. But I really want to start perfecting my profession in WWE with the wrestling movements and hope that the following year or two I can make a transition.”
