West Ham United manager Graham Potter said he understands fans who rush the team in response to their current bad form.
The Hammers travel to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, after they have surrendered at home to the already related Southampton to pull 1-1 last weekend.
The draw represented their sixth league match without a victory and kept them fourth Bottom in the Premier League.
“Certainly [I understand that]. The implementation was not good enough and the result is not what we want. So I fully understand that, “said Potter in response to the fans who fascinated.
“Our performance was not good enough, especially the first half. Nowhere near what we wanted to do. Credit to Southampton, but we have to do better with the balance between attack and defense.
“In the modern Premier League you have to do both sides of the game, we struggle to do that, to maintain attacks, to keep the ball good to create opportunities. We struggled.
“The we looked was in the transition, where the goal came from, but in general we are disappointed.”
West Ham was initially a goal in the 47th minute by Jarrod Bowen, although Leslie Ugochukwu Saints only earned their 11th point of the season in the stopping time.
“You have to score the second goal, do the right things, attack well, not give the ball away, and unfortunately we didn't do that well enough,” said Potter.
“There are probably not many players who can say 'I have had a very good game today'. We have to look at that collective to find out the reasons. It is no lack of effort.
“But we suffer a little at home, we suffer here. We have to do better.”
Meanwhile, head coach Fabian Hurzeler of Brighton was sympathetic to his own fank criticism prior to this weekend's game.
The seagulls were beaten 4-2 to Brentford in the previous time-out, making them 10th in the Premier League.
“Yes, in the end we have to make the decisions that make us success,” Hurzeler told Premier League Productions.
“I tried some fast players such as Kaoru Mitoma and Solly March, to put more midfielders on the field to control the game.
“In the end we did not get the honor for the courage we showed. In the end it doesn't help if you lose a man, but he said sorry to the team and he will learn from this.”
