Borussia Dortmund 1-1 Bayern Munich: Jamal Musiala scores late on after Jamie Gittens solo Dortmund stunner

Jamal Musiala scored a late equalizer for Bayern Munich to deny Borussia Dortmund victory after a stunning solo goal from Englishman Jamie Gittens in a 1-1 draw.

Musiala rose at the back post to nod home in the 85th minute, ending Dortmund's 100 percent home record in the 136th Der Klassiker match between the sides.

Leroy Sane came close early on for Bayern, but it was the home team that opened the score just after halfway through the first half with a brilliant effort from Gittens.

Nico Schlotterbeck played a measured ball to the Englishman on the left flank, just inside his own half, with Gittens stepping over the ball, before pulling away from Konrad Laimer and smashing the ball over Manuel Neuer into the corner.

Harry Kane left minutes later with a suspected hamstring injury, with the man who replaced him, Thomas Muller, unable to convert with a good chance in each half.

Musiala and Sane both spurned chances in the second half, before Musiala headed home substitute Michael Olise's cross late on to give Bayern a share of the win.

More to follow.
