The Rossoneri have passed a disappointing Serie A campaign while they sit in the ninth, 20 points behind Inter and Napoli.

Despite the loss of 1-0 at home in Atalanta at the weekend, Concukicao Faith had his side against Inter.

“The small details are important. I liked the attitude and tightness of the team in defense and attack.

“The team has quality, but also humility and a desire to win every game.”

Luka Jovic went to a cross nine minutes before the break to give Milan the lead and he doubled his personal count early in the second period.

Tijjani Reijnders added a late third to set up a final with Bologna or Empoli, in which Milan has been looking for their first Coppa Crown since 2003.

Jovic now has four goals in his last five games, after he had not received Milan before this season

“He has worked really well for the past three or four weeks. He has also lost a bit of weight,” said Conceicao.

“He brings us something that we wanted for this game. He doesn't give anything to the central defenders; we wanted to have that.”

Milan plays two finals in one season for the first time since 2007-08, after he has defeated Inter 3-1 in the Supercoppa Italiana in January.

It is only the third time that Milan has won three Derbies against Inter in a single season in their history and previously done this in 1971-72 and 2004-05.

“Our feet are on the floor, we have not won anything yet,” Confeicao added.

“We have to play a final and make a difference at the end of the competition to help our image. We have more quality than what we have shown.”
