In anticipation of his largest UFC fight so far, Carlos Prates has still not given up any cigarettes, based on new images.
The rising Brazilian star takes on Ian Machado Garry in a fight that will make him or break as a legitimate competition in the Welterweight Division. He achieved the top 15 in Lightning Quick Time with four knockout victories since he made his debut in the UFC last year.
Prates has eliminated the will of Li Jingliang, Charles Radtke and Trevin Giles on their way to a number 13 spot and two fighting evening headliners. The one opponent he and Garry share; Neil Magny, lasted three brutal rounds that he lost 10-8 against the Irishman, but the Brazilian managed to chose him in one round.

Yesterday afternoon, Carlos Prates participated in a moving moment where he started a fan that suffered from esophageal cancer in the Fighting Nerds training Family. He and his teammates put on yellow coats, which they donated to mega-fan Randy after they had shaved his head at his request.
The Brazilian then went outside and a video caught by Undercard -hunter Chris Gutierrez from his hotel room showed prates that a cigarette smoked.
