Ronny Deila has taken the responsibility for the poor form of Atlanta United who has seen them win in their last three games, the most recently a crushing loss for the Philadelphia Union last weekend.
Quinn Sullivan inspired 10-man Philadelphia in a 3-0 drubing from Atlanta in Subaru Park and took a goal and an assist. Danley Jean Jacques and Tai Baribo also came to the score sheet.
Sullivan scored the opener just before half an hour, while Jean Jacques added the second in the 50th minute, with Baribo finished the finishing touches of an extensive victory in the dying minutes.
Deila's side rejects a number of very good opportunities for the goal, in particular from Aleksey Miranchuk and Saba Lobjanidze in what was a frustrating version. Atlanta played the majority of the second half with an extra man after Jovan Lukic was sent, but the visitors could not let their benefits count.
About the result, Deila took responsibility for the fortunes of the team and admitted that they underperform it.
“Of course I am very disappointed. I think we have a lot of the ball in the game, but we don't get enough in the two boxes,” he said.
“I think we lose the ball too much in difficult situations and simple situations and we get counter-aiming.
“We perform behind as a team and also as individuals. That is something I have to look at myself in the mirror and take responsibility.”
Atlanta United is currently 12th in the classification of the Eastern Conference, with only nine points of nine games to date.

However, their upcoming opponents, Orlando City, are not much better.
Orlando was previously held to a scoreless draw by CF Montreal – their third upright result, making them seventh in the rankings, level with Nashville SC on 13 points. They have not succeeded in scoring in 270 minutes.
Against Montreal, Orlando was reduced to 10 men in the 76th minute, when Rafael Santos was sent to receive two yellow cards.
Players to watch
Orlando City – Marco Pasalic
Pasalic started his MLS campaign clearly with four goals and an assist within his first five games.
But the goals have dried up for Pasalic, who made a joint game-high three shots against Montreal, including one shot in the box, which works on an XG of 0.11.
Atlanta United – Emmanuel Latte Lath
Atlanta just couldn't find it in their draw with Philadelphia despite seeing 22 touches in the Union box during the 90 minutes.
36% of those accents (eight) came from Latte Lat, which also had two shots in the box and two last third entries. If the scoreless run of Atlanta has to break, the dynamics of Latte Lat in the last third is the key.
Match forecast: Orlando City Win
Despite their recent form, Orlando City are favorites to win the collision from Saturday. They are the second team in the history of MLS that three straight -free draws plays within a single regular season (Colorado in 2015), although they remain unbeaten in six straight matches.
In fact, this is the first time that Orlando has not been scored in three straight games in the regular season since a run of five games in 2018.
But they are expected to have a home advantage count against an oppressed Atlanta side, who had suffered back in the regular season game in the regular season for the first time since a three-match run in July.
