Chelsea fans remained stunned after they saw Cole Palmer run away from Stamford Bridge.
A video that was shared on social media showed the blues star in a hoodie and shorts who ran through a crowd of fans as he held a phone against his ear and another in his hand.
Fans were seen after Palmer in the bizarre clip.
The 22-year-old played the lead role during today's 1-0 win over Everton on Stamford Bridge.
However, it is unclear when the video was taken.
Anyway, fans were stunned by his appearance in the video of the Club Stadium.
Responding on social media, a fan said: “What's going on?”
A second said, “New meme template fell.”
A third added: “Lmao! The team bus left him behind.”
Another said, “What does he do?”
Palmer continued his rotten form on the field against the Toffees and achieved the worst Chelsea rating in Sunsport's players' players for the game.
The strike by Nicolas Jackson was enough to earn Chelsea the three points, but Palmer drew up a particularly bad representation according to his usually elevated standards.
Another blank today means that Palmer has not scored now in his last 17 games, while Jackson's goal ended his 13 game streak.
Manager Enzo Maresca had said before the competition that the problem of the English international was “mentally” and not tactical.
