Les Parisiens received many compliments for their versions and performance in the second half of the season. Their impressive displays against Liverpool and Aston Villa in the most important competition of Europe and almost invincible season in Ligue 1 have seen both experts and fans, including Jamie Carragher, brand PSG as the best team in Europe.
To their defeat against Nice, the French Capital Club had struck 30 games in the top flight. Although this record is no longer available for the men of Luis Enrique, the Ligue 1 champions can still complete an unprecedented treble.
