Theo Walcott believes Arsenal made West Ham look like mannequins during a tense first half at the London Stadium.
Mikel Arteta's men headed into half-time 5-2 against the Hammers, with the Gunners leading 4-0 at one point in the opening 45 minutes.
Gabriel, Leandro Trossard, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka were the scorers for the visitors.
Analyzing the third goal that came through Trossard's close finish, Walcott did not hold back in his assessment of West Ham's defence.
The former Arsenal striker told Sky Sports: 'We have spoken about the connection between Saka and Odegaard. Great that he just recognizes that space encounters Saka.
'It's a practice goal, it's like they played against mannequins every now and then. You can clearly see what they are trying to do: link-up play.'
'Odegaard always wants to be involved. Not a single West Ham player is looking at the ball, brilliant from Trossard.”
Aaron Wan-Bissaka pulled away for West Ham to make it 4-1 in the 38th minute, making it two goals in a week after also scoring against Newcastle on Monday.
Jamie Redknapp was full of praise for the right-back as he jokingly compared him to Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah.
'That's a great ball, perfect timing, it goes through to Wan-BiSalah and not to Wan-Bissaka. He now has two in two, which has worked out very well,” Redknapp said.
