While the frustration of Aspinall continues with regard to the interruption of Jones, St-Pierre recommends a unique approach to the growing uncertainty of heavyweight division.

Georges St-Pierre compares the wait of Tom Aspinall for Jon Jones with one of his legendary rivalry

“If I could give Tom advice, he must concentrate on the next task,” said St-Pierre about Aspinall. “I remember that when I lost to Matt Serra, I made the mistake of thinking about Matt Serra and tried to get my rematch immediately. But I had several fights for that … and if he only concentrated on Jon Jones, and if Jones does not return immediately, he is not on the right thing. He has to” what is the next? “
“I don't know what Jon will do, but as a fan I would like to see this fight,” St-Pierre continued. “Because Jon Jones is the best in terms of inheritance and performance. And I understand Tom's position that he is a proud hunter and he wants to be the best, but now it all depends on what Jon wants to do, if he still wants to do this and if he is honestly compensated … it all plays. [a role].
'So Tom should not concentrate on [Jon] Because it is outside of his control and he wastes a lot of energy that concentrates on it. And I know it is very difficult, but he has to self -hypnotize himself to concentrate on the next and to be hungry about the next task. “
After a meeting with UFC CBO Hunter Campbell last month, Aspinall expressed the highest optimism with regard to his octagonal return. Jones has not fought anymore since the completion of Stipe Miocic on UFC 309 in November.
Aspinall defended the Interim -Riem last July against Curtis Blaydes on UFC 304, where Blaydes was finished in the first round. He remains unbeaten in his UFC official period with recent knockouts from Sergei Pavlovich, Marcin Tybura and Serghei Spivac.
