DC United have exclusive rights in MLS for talks with Paul Pogba

According to a report from the Washington Post, DC United has acquired the discovery rights on Paul Pogba (32).

What this means is that DC United is the only team in the MLS who can negotiate a contract with the World Cup winner 2018. If another MLS side wanted to try to sign Pogba, they would first have to buy the discovery rights of DC United.

The Washington Post reports that the former player of Juventus and Manchester United and the capital team have been talking for several months while trying to negotiate a deal. The midfielder was associated with a move to Lionel Messis (37) Inter Miami, where Pogba currently has a home.

Pogba did not play for 20 months after he was banned for doping. He was allowed to return to football after his ban was shortened from four years to 18 months. In March he was allowed to start training again.

It is said that Pogba has not yet chosen his future club and is still investigating his options and looks at movements in Europe and the Middle East.
