Carlo Ancelotti considers new Real Madrid option after turning down Brazil

Carlo Ancelotti is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer, but it must be definitely exactly when he will leave the club. It was obviously considered that he would continue with the end of the La Liga season, but it now seems that he will remain in charge for a while.

On Monday it was reported that Ancelotti has in principle reached an agreement to take over the next manager of the National Team of Brazil, but only 24 hours later this was implemented. As reported by Marca, Real Madrid's head coach has decided to reject the opportunity to continue his career in South America.

Earlier on Tuesday, Ancelotti traveled to London to meet emissions from the Brazilian football federation (CBF). It was expected that he would sign his contract during these discussions, but in the end he informed them that he would not do that.

It was reported that Brazil wanted Ancelotti to be in charge of their next 2026 World Cup qualifications at the beginning of June, but Real Madrid did not want this to happen because their idea is to keep him the lead for the club of this summer. As such, the proposed deal will not take place.

But this does not mean that Ancelotti will stay in Real Madrid after the summer, because it has already been decided that a new manager will be appointed before the start of the 2025-26 season. The 65-year-old can decide to retire, although the Marca report has revealed that he is now considering a lucrative offer of a public club in Saudi Arabia.

It has been a crazy 24 hours in this matter, but at this stage it seems that Ancelotti will remain as a Real Madrid manager for the Club World Cup before it is removed from its position.
