Inter go to Barca on the back of three consecutive defeats, twice in the Serie A and their Coppa Italia semi -final against AC Milan.
But Before their Champions League semi -final first legs, Inzaghi said: “The boys have been extraordinary so far, the work we have done for four years wipes out.
“We had to do better in the last three games, but after four years we compete here for all our goals, when some said it would be difficult to get to the top four in Italy.
“You will never hear me speak badly about my boys or from the club. Thanks to them, it is that we have been able to do well in the last four years, go beyond all expectations.”
“We give everything”
He continued: “It is not the most difficult moment when you go to a semi -final of the Champions League. There is enthusiasm. We have come from a bad week and tomorrow we have to be good in every department to pass a great opponent.
“You always have to have ambition, we have always shown it. We don't know how the season will end, the competition is off your hands, but in the Champions League we are one of the best teams in Europe.
“The boys gave everything, the last week was not so positive, but the team will play with a lot of desire in this semi -final. Then we will see who the final is.”
Barcelona Strong points
In the field of Hansi Flick's Barcelona, Inzaghi says that he has great admiration for the way they played this season. After their victory over Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals, however, Intaghi insists that Int is able to beat the LaLiga leaders.
“It is a team that we know, Flick is a great coach who has brought a lot of organization to a great attacking team. They are among the most organized teams in the world when they lose the ball: the attacking players are all getting better.
“It is a team that has been built over time, with many players who have come through the youth sector. They have incredible figures and have won two titles, and they compete for more.
“We have the biggest respect, but no fear. We are talking about Barcelona, Bayern, Real, City, Arsenal-it are all great opponents in a tournament where you have this level of competition, but we have had a great journey. We want a semi-final like a real intercace tomorrow.
“Everyone has their own philosophy. Bayern is different from Barca, even if they are similar in some ways. We will have to give everything we have done against Bayern, with a lot of fluidity. We have worked a lot of video in recent days and put it on the field.”
