Rodri has returned to the full training of Manchester City while recovering from his front cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Sky Sports News understands that there is still no time frame for Rodri's return, but the club World Cup is a more realistic target for its return than the FA Cup final or a Premier League match.
Rodri was depicted as part of the opening training on Wednesday, but that was not his first training session, he recently slowly integrated into the training.
Erling Haaland is also back training after his ankle injury and Pep Guardiola is expected to give an update about his fitness in Thursday's press conference.
But Nathan Ake and John Stones are still not training with City.
