Barcelona and Real Madrid competing to sign Bundesliga star this summer

Neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid go in the best form financially in the summer, and therefore bargains can be sought. And a player who falls into this category attracts interest from both clubs.

Jonathan Tah sees his Bayer Leverkusen contract expired at the end of the season and he has no plans to sign a renewal. As such, it will be available as a free agent from July 1, and therefore there are many clubs that keep an eye on his situation prior to a possible approach.

At this stage there are three clubs that lead the race to sign Tah, and according to Diario AS, two of them are Barcelona and Real Madrid – with the other Bundesliga rivals of Leverkusen, Bayern Munich.

Barcelona is interested in Tah for most of the season, but although they want to take him to the club, their well -documented financial problems are currently making it difficult. And this is where Real Madrid can benefit, especially because the current manager of the 28-year-old, Xabi Alonso, seems to go to the Santiago Bernabeu himself to take over from Carlo Ancelotti.

Real Madrid View Tah as a market opportunity, and Alonso has already registered with a movement that is made. But for now he is only a name on the list, with the chance that William Saliba or Dean Huijsen will be priority. This in turn can give Bayern, who needs center-backs to replace Eric Dier, who joins Monaco and Kim Min-Jae, which is expected to leave in the middle of the interest of Newcastle United.

It is still too seen where Tah ends up, but for now there are good opportunities for him to move to Spain, even if Barcelona and Real Madrid don't see it that simple that he can join their respective clubs.
