Van Ruben Amorim is expected to get his funds in the summer to strengthen his Manchester United team, regardless of how the team ended his first season at the helm
Manchester United keeps an eye on Serbian Starlet Ognjen Ugresic, it is said. The teenager, who plays for Partizan Belgrade, is compared to Jude Bellingham and Paul Pogba.
Ugresic, 18, played eight times this season for the first team of Partizan. He scored his first senior goal for the club at the weekend and set his way in a possible 3-1 victory over Radnicki, and United is supposed to be the clubs to have sent scouts to see him in action.
A Serbian Under-19 International, Ugresic is also understood as being eligible to represent Hungary through his mother. And the player of the player, Ostoja Stjanpanovic, has spoken with the Hungarian Outlet Nemzeti Sport about the interest in his customer.
“I can confirm that Winter Press reports are based on reality, there is interest in him from many places: not only Manchester United observers follow his development, but also Serie A clubs,” said Stjanpanovic. “However, it would be too early to switch, he could get the play options he needs to go to the next level in Partizan next season.
Ugresic is mainly a central midfielder, but can also play the left side – as he did against Radnicki on Sunday. Partizan is assured of second place in the play-offs of the championship, which means that they will go the next term in the qualifying rounds of the Conference League.
“His style is similar to Jude Bellingham and somewhat with Paul Pogba,” the agent continued. “His technical skills are excellent, he also has the speed for the highest level, despite his height his sprint speed more than thirty -five kilometers per hour.
“Playing behind the forward line, he helps with actions, sees the game well, he is an intelligent football player. He has developed a lot in a few months under the guidance of Blagojevic, but he needs time to develop.”
United is expected to be busy in the summer, even if Ugreesic does not halibly play his football outside of Serbia. A new senior attacker is high on the list, with Matheus Cunha van Wolves and the Liam Delap from Ipswich both linked.
Cunha has a release clause of £ 62.5 million, although United may not be the only club in hunting. Delap will be available for considerably less after the relegation of Ipswich, although Ruben Amorim's side will again not be alone in their pursuit.
“Liam's Focus is still here and ends the season as strongly as possible,” said Ipswich Baas Kieran McKenna after the club's relegation was confirmed. “As I said before, I think there is certainly a possibility that he is an Ipswich player next year.
“I don't think something will be decided in someone's thoughts. But can Liam play for the biggest clubs in the country, the biggest clubs in the world? He can certainly do that. I fully believe that.”
