Vincent Kompany is about to recover the top title for the German record champions in his first season, a year after Bayer Leverkusen won a Surprise League and DFB-Pokal in an unbeaten domestic campaign.
Bayern currently has an eight -point advantage compared to the ruling champions, after he has collected 75 points, with Leverkusen in second place with 67 before he travels to the fourth -placed Champions League Hoopvol Freiburg on Sunday.

Freiburg is currently the favorites to complete the top four, according to the OPTA Supercomputer, with 40.9%.
Borussia Dortmund, given a 26.4% chance of finishing fourth, is sixth with 48 points, three behind Freiburg, and has passed a domestic season of the roller coaster.
From the label as early title candidates, they are now fighting to secure a Champions League spot to save something from another disappointing campaign and to organize Wolfsburg on Sunday.
Dortmund has won four of their last five Bundesliga matches, with coach Niko Kovac and his players convinced that they can still end up in the top four.

On the other side of the table, the curtains can be for Bottom Club Bochum if they lose Friday's relegation fight in Heidenheim, who are four points above them in 16th place and on the play-off spot of the relegation.
