Barcelona has confirmed that Jules Kounde sustained a hamstring injury on Wednesday in their semi-final draw from the Champions League with Inter on Wednesday.
Kounde started the 3-3 draw in Barcelona, but was forced to leave the first stage in the 42nd minute, replaced by Eric Garcia.
Spanish media reported that the full-back could be sidelined for three weeks, which would force him to be the second stage in Milan next Tuesday, as well as the Clasico against Real Madrid on 11 May.
“Tests performed this morning on the first team player Jules Kounde have shown that he has a distal hamstring injury in his left leg,” Barcelona said in a statement.

The 26-year-old scored the extra-time winner that Barca de Copa del Rey insured in a 3-2 triumph over Madrid last weekend.
Kounde played for 4.423 minutes this season in all matches, more than any other Barcelona player. He played this period with the exception of all games (53), starting with 50 of them.
