Barcelona was all ready to welcome Marc Casado again next season from an injury, with the 21-year-old to a ligament ridel by the end of March. Casado, however, is already in training and can perform in the last pieces of the season.
Casado went with an injury to Atletico Madrid in mid -March, after playing with the tear for more than half an hour. He was initially excluded for two months, so that he would be potentially available for the last match or two of the season, depending on whether Barcelona got the Champions League final.
As reported by Sport, Casado, however, returned to the training with the rest of the group on Friday, which could make him conflict with the last six or seven games of the season. It seems unlikely that he would be back in action against Real Valladolid against Real Valladolid this weekend, or in a semi-final of the Champions League against Inter, but he could be a factor in the last pair of Liga matches.
It is also noticed by the Catalan Daily that midfielders Dani Rodriguez, Noah Darvich and full-back Landry Farre trained with the first team before their journey to Valladolid. On the other hand, Robert Lewandowski and Alejandro did not train with the group, in the midst of speculation about the return of the last this weekend.
It depends on how long Barcelona Casado wants to keep training in his recovery, which may be little if a week, or can be a few weeks. After Inter next week, Barcelona will play Real Madrid, trip to Espanyol, plays Villarreal at home and then finally go to San Mames on the last day of the season to play Athletic Club. Given the meaning of all those games and power of opposition, there is no clear return date, but Espanyol is perhaps the most logical expectation in terms of chronology and circumstances.
