Eric Dier leaves Bayern Munich at the end of the season after he has rejected the chance to stay in the German club.
According to their sports director Christoph Freund, Bayern was open to expanding the stay of the English defender.
The former Tottenham man, however, has been decided to leave as soon as his contract has arrived in the Allianz Arena in the Allianz Arena this year in the Allianz Arena.
“We had conversations with Eric about a new contract,” said Freund.
“He told us that he does not want to extend himself and leave us.
“He is a great guy. We had a great time together. Hopefully he crowns his time with us with his first title. '
According to the BBC, Dier is in conversation with the French club Monaco, in what would be a surprising movement in view of the relative lack of bravery of the Ligue 1 -side compared to Bayern.
Reports indicate that the Ligue 1-side is open for a three-year deal with the option to extend by another 12 months.
Dier has made 45 performances for Bayern since he initially came to the loan with them halfway through last season.
He continued to extend his stay that summer and remained part of Bayern's continuous title statement.
The club, managed by former Manchester City -defender Vincent Kompany, can secure the Bundesliga -Kroon by beating RB Leipzig this weekend.
Each competition medal would be the first piece of silverware that animal has won in its professional career.
Dier, who has 49 international caps, played for the last time for England in December 2022.
