Former Premier League star Joe Allen has announced his retirement of football.
The 35-year-old midfielder hangs his boots after the last game of Swansea of the season against Oxford tomorrow.
About his decision to call it a day, all said: “This is incredibly difficult. This is not something that I have taken lightly, I spent a lot of time thinking.
“The timing is right. I made the decision, about a month ago to 100 percent.
“I wasn't sure how to go in recent weeks, how I would find things, but it really is a good enchantment. I enjoyed it.
“I had the chance to think and take everything. I am really looking forward to what my last game will be on Saturday.
“I am very proud. I didn't think I would play so many games here as for clubs that I did at that level and also for Wales.
“I have been incredibly happy and as I have thought in recent weeks, very grateful and grateful for everyone who helped me on the way to have these great experiences.”
All, who came through the Academy in Swansea, presented them for them in 24 champion matches for them this season.
In total he will be done with 221 games for the club.
Allen left Swansea for Liverpool in 2012 for £ 15 million when he followed manager Brendan Rodgers to Anfield.
He played 132 times for the Reds for four seasons before he left for Stoke in 2016.
The 77-Covered International was also an important member of the Wales team who made the semi-final of Euro 2016.
Allen made the team of the tournament and he is a former winner of the Welsh Player of the Year Award.
His decision to stop football is a big blow to Wales boss Craig Bellamy, who convinced him from the international retirement last year after he initially said that his with the dragons after 2012 was the World Cup.
Yet it is a midfield maestro for another in Swansea, because Real Madrid -legend Luka Modric has bought a minority stake in the club.
