After the UFC Conor McGregor signed the promotion, Dana White invited the Dubliner to join him for a meal.
During their conversation, the businessman realized that the couple were about to go on a wild journey.
In an interview with Bro Bible, he explained: “I went out for dinner when we first drew him, he flew to Vegas and he and I went to eat. It was my first real interaction with him.
“When I left that dinner, I called my partner Lorenzo [Fertitta] And said: 'Let me tell you something, I don't know if this child can fight or not. But if he can even blow a blow, he becomes a huge superstar. '
“I knew it with him that night. His personality, the energy around this child, I never had anyone like he met. The closest to it was Ronda Rousey.”
