Tudor upbeat for Bologna trip despite Juventus’ injury struggles

Igor Tudor remains cheerful despite six great absence for Juventus, while visiting Bologna Fifth placed Bologna in an important Serie A struggle to secure a place in the Champions League of next season.

Forward Dusan Vlahovic, who has a thighing problem, does not remain available for Sunday's game and joins Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal, Teun Koopmeiners and Federico Gatti on the Letter list.

Kenan Yildiz will also miss because of the suspension, said head coach Tudor while Juve continues to fight with an exhausted team.

“Koopmeiners, Gatti, Cabal and Bremer are still out. Vlahovic will not be available either, he tried it today, but he is not yet 100 percent and will not make it,” Tudor told reporters.

After the victory against Monza Last Time Out, Juve was able to win from fourth place for the first time since February and March in Serie A back-to-back when they won five in a row.

Tudor said he needed his injury to take on that challenge without a large number of important players.

“Today I gave a speech that goes in this direction. The players have to take their destination because nobody can give it to them,” he added.

“When the team prepares well for the competition, they succeed in achieving everything.”

If Bologna wins, they will overtake Juventus in the table with three games to go for the first time in the history of a series A season of 20 teams.

Tudor's side is only one point free from Bologna with four games to go, while Roma, Lazio and Fiorentina are also within three points of Juve.

“In the final phase of the season, all competitions are important,” Tudor continued. “There are only a few games left and it is clear that they have a lot of importance.

“We have to do well in all games, and we have achieved this Bologna meeting all week.”

These two parties have each signed of their last four Serie A meetings, where both parties score in each of these.

The couple could share the loot in five games in a row in the competition for the first time since 1978 and 1980, although Tudor is not going to play for a point.

“Bologna has years of work behind them, they are a difficult team to play against, full of running, Van Grit, Van Duel,” said the Croatian.

“You can't play for a draw, I have never done that in my life. We have prepared the game to win. The result of tomorrow will decide a lot, but not everything.”
