UFC Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili kept an eye on how the Cory Sandhagen vs. DEIVESON FIGUEIDEDO FIGHT.
Former UFC -Interim title Challenger Cory Sandhagen made a strong thing for a linear shot on the belt with his performance at UFC des Moines. Merab Dvalishvili answers Cory Sandhagen's UFC des Moines Callout
Sandhagen is one of the few Bantamweight candidates who are not confronted with Merab Dvalishvili or Sean O'Malley in their career. Dvalishvili is opposite O'Malley in a Bantamweight title Rematch on UFC 316 next month.
After beating Figueiredo at UFC des Moines, Sandhagen called Dvalishvili and O'Malley for his next fight, and also argued for his case to serve as the UFC 316 -Back -Up.
In a recent video on his X account, Dvalishvili Sandhagen congratulated with his UFC des Moines -Finish.
“Well done Cory, let's go! Congratulations my friend, great job,” replied Dvalishvili on Sandhagen.
Dvalishvili defended his belt against Nurmagomedov on UFC 311 before he received the rematch booking against O'Malley. He will want to hand over O'Malley a similar result as their first fight he won through unanimous decision on UFC 306 in September.
O'malley has not fought since UFC 306 and decided to hold an immediate rematch against Dvalishvili. Sandhagen has one career-insfit fight, a short-notice interim title loss for Petr Yan on UFC 267.
Regardless of who wins on UFC 316, Sandhagen is the likely next man in the Bantamweight title photo. Nurmagomedov, who defeated Sandhagen last year by decision, has not been booked since UFC 311.

Dvalishvili recently attracted a lot of praise from UFC Superstar Conor McGregor on social media. In a recent post by X, McGregor Dvalishvili praised as 'magnificent' while praising the long -term profit treak of the Bantam weight champion.
