Real Madrid pegged back by Celta as score goes to 3-1

Real Madrid is on track to beat Celta in their La Liga collision in the Santiago Bernabeu, but the visitors have a goal back to bring the score to 3-1.

It was a frustrating opening of half an hour for Real Madrid, because they failed to register a single shot on goal. But that was corrected at 33 minutes when Arda Guler shot the opening goal after collecting a pass from Lucas Vazquez.

Kylian Mbappe doubled the advantage of the hosts shortly thereafter, and in the second half he scored his second and Real Madrid's third of the afternoon. But Celta has now succeeded in getting a goal back thanks to Javi Rodriguez.

Lucas Vazquez did well to get back on the line to stop Celta at first, but his approval only went in half of Rodriguez, who made no mistake from close by. The visitors can now have a spark of hope in their search for a comeback.
