Joe Rogan will not participate in the broadcast for the UFC Pay-per-View of his weekend as the top promotion from the sport to Montreal.
The beloved Podcaster and comedian is the voice of UFC Pay-per-view events, but has chosen to show for shows in recent years. Despite the fact that Canada is in North America, it is still technically a non-US event.
Instead, he will be replaced by double bantam weight champion Dominick Cruz in the UFC 315 temporary employment team. The show is led by the Welterweight title defense of Belal Muhammad against Jack della Maddalena.
Joe Rogan replaced by Dominick Cruz for UFC 315
Although it has been known for a while that Joe Rogan is not participating in the broadcast for this weekend's pay-per-view, the news was officially made today. His place in the team is taken by Cruz, who tends to rotate with Michael Bisping for the third microphone position.

As standard for most UFC shows, Cruz is accompanied by Play-by-Play-Gastheer Jon Anik and the legendary two-weight champion Daniel Cormier for the show. Brendan Fitzgerald will also serve as a reporter on site, confirmed Mmafighting last night.
About the decisions for those who come to the broadcast, Bisping told the Jaxxon podcast: “They mix it between me, Dominick Cruz and Paul Felder because we all want to do the pay-per-views because you know.
“But they have set their team. They have Joe Rogan, Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier. You know what I mean if one of who can't get it, they kick it to the B team.”
Joe Rogan claimed that he would 'prefer to go to Russia' than Canada for UFC 315
During his podcast fighter for UFC London in March, Rogan noted that he was not attending the double header of the world title, who was not unexpected for hardcore fans. He told Co-Hosts Gordon Ryan, Brendan Schaub and Eddie Bravo that the reason is his unwillingness to travel to Canada.
Speaking from his Austin compound with his old friends, he said about the event: “I won't be there, I will not go to Canada anymore, I don't do that.”
When Schaub joked 'nor should you have to', Rogan replied that he 'would rather go to Russia', which led to laughter throughout the studio. He also told a story about a meeting with President Donald Trump, where he claimed that he was going to refer to former Prime Minister Justin Trudeueu as “Governor Trudeau.”
